The Workday Security & Reporting specialist is responsible to ensure Giant Tiger has a well-designed and strong security architecture within Workday and for the development and support of simple and complex reporting solutions to ensure smooth business operations, minimize risks, meet regulatory requirements, and improve our organization’s audit, governance, risk and compliance processes.

Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible to ensure Giant Tiger has a well-designed and strong security architecture within Workday to ensure smooth business operations, minimize risks, meet regulatory requirements, and improve our organization’s governance, risk and compliance processes
  • Audit and maintain Giant Tiger’s Workday security structure to ensure technical standards, data privacy standards and industry best practices are followed
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining Position and User Based security roles assignments; custom security roles and providing resolution to any security related issues.
  • Responsible for the integrity of the Workday system, across all domains, by conducting regular system, access, role and data audits to ensure adherence to IS security and audit requirements
  • Responsible for Tenant level settings for multiple Giant Tiger Workday tenants, including but not limited to authentication policies, multi-factor authentication (MFA), Geo-fencing
  • Responsible for the development, ongoing maintenance and daily support of reporting solutions in support of HCM/FIN reporting strategies
  • Support the development and strategy for data quality & reporting and the design & development of complex reporting solutions & dashboards using Workday reporting tools (ex: calculated fields, Report Writer, Workday Studio)
  • Lead report reviews and ensure report security is configured and tested to meet business requirements, as well as adherence to security and data privacy standards
  • Ensure product knowledge & skills are kept current, keeping abreast of best practice and industry trends, providing expertise to drive Giant Tiger’s Workday continuous improvement
  • Review system upgrades/releases to determine overall business impact, conduct regression testing and make recommendations for future enhancements/functionality

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in security & reports management
  • Workday Report and Security Training, Certifications and/or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience with report development tools such as Workday’s Report Writer or Studio or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience supporting/maintaining system level security policies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with functional and technical clients
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle daily planned and unplanned operation activities
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow-up and resolution
  • Workday, other large ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft)
