Infosys is seeking aSenior Front End Developer

The position primary be responsible for apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. Defining systems strategy, road-map, developing process flow diagrams, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping. Exposure to Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery. Discuss with customer process consultants and business SME to understand the analyzed process. Derive automation opportunities and recommendations from the Discover product output and discussions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Vancouver, British Columbia or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the Canada.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
  • Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle
  • Experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Proficient in client & server-side JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and webpack
  • Competent in building single page web applications using Node.js and React/Angular
  • Experience with cross-browser, cross-platform and design constraints on the web
  • Experience in developing automated unit and functional tests
  • Experience in an agile development process
  • Solid knowledge of algorithms and design patterns
  • Have a passion for quality and writing clean, readable code that scales and performs well
  • Good interpersonal communication skills
