Intel’s Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) Custom Logic Engineering (CLE) team is seeking a Software Verification Engineer to join our High Level Design (HLD) Compiler team. The HLD Compiler team works on next generation technology to allow our customers to use C or C++ to efficiently implement massively parallel, low latency designs (such as Deep Learning or Genome Sequencing) on to heterogeneous FPGA-based computing platforms. If you are passionate about breaking things in-order-to make them better, this might be the role for you.

As a member of this team you will: Drive the verification of our code base through white box verification techniques. Own our test suite definitions, and optimize for coverage and efficiency. Perform initial triage on test regressions Interface with our various internal stakeholders for QA and Validation across multiple geographies


You must possess minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or related field.
  • 1+ years experience in C/C++ and (Python or Perl)
  • Software Verification tools and methodology

Preferred Qualifications

  • ISTQB or similar certification
