The Team

The Data Models & Analytics team within Global Finance & Risk Technology (GFRT) provides analytics and support services for Global Finance Initiatives. The Data Models & Analytics team supports Financial Close Processes and provide Financial Data Management, Data Analysis, Data Quality and Data Governance services.

The Role

Oracle EPM (Hyperion Essbase) – Consultant with extensive experience in development, implementation, support of Hyperion Essbase Applications & scheduling Jobs in Autosys.

Some of the key accountabilities include:

  • Hyperion Essbase (Linux Version 11.1.2.4): Hands-on experience with design/ development of Essbase Application.
  • Deep understanding of ASO/BSO Application concepts.
  • Hands on experience in writing Member Formulas, Calculation Script, Report Script, MDX, MAXL, Unix Shell scripting.
  • Experience in writing complex Dimension build and load rules in Essbase and Cube partitioning.
  • Security Setup: Creating groups/filters and users in Essbase.
  • Hyperion Data Integration tools: Hyperion Shared Services, Workspace, Smart view, LCM etc.
  • Automation/ Schedulers Tool: Scheduling Jobs in Autosys.
  • Knowledge of ETL concepts, CDM, OBIEE and Oracle SQL is additional skill.

What You Will Bring to Succeed

  • Requires expertise in areas of design, development, testing, security setup, Automation, migrations, version upgrades, Reporting.
  • ETL Informatica, Oracle SQL, OBIEE Reporting and CDM knowledge.
  • Building new servers which include installation, configuration and patching of Essbase components.
  • Migration of artifacts from one application to another using LCM Creating Essbase Application ASO & BSO, Loading Dimension and Data using Rule file.
  • Optimising Current process and memory tuning on server.
  • Adhoc Requests and supporting users with SmartView/OBIEE reports related issues.
  • Working with Oracle Support for creating and resolving Product related issues.
  • Candidate with good understanding of Banking, Finance and Regulatory reports.
  • Essbase Certifications.
