We are looking for an experienced Software Engineers to join our Telemetry Analytics Team. Our telemetry systems are the bedrock of our data-informed culture, providing insights and telemetry across millions of clients daily. We empower Office Engineering Teams with Data and Insights to let them respond to customer feedback, steer future investments, and ensure our customers have the best experience possible daily. Serve Enterprise Tenant Admins with Insights about Office Health in a compliant way, empowering them to engage and collaborate for greater productivity. Processing trillions of events daily, our systems are highly scalable and support both business and product intelligence through custom portals, batch-processed results, and near-real-time tools for ad-hoc data analysis, machine learning on data to detect actionable anomalies. Engineers throughout Office use these systems to make product decisions to shape the future of Office. We leverage state of the art Azure technologies for big data processing tech that is available internally as well as open source/Azure technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Explorer, Azure Data Factory etc. As a Software Engineer in the telemetry team, you will have the ability to impact millions of people daily, shape our telemetry systems’ future with data compliance and contribute to the success of several Office Teams and Ent erprise Customers.
2+ years of relevant work experience, including hands-on engineering leadership and contributions in building high scale Data Solutions and APIs
Exceptional coding skills in one of the following C++, C# or Java, Python – Exposure to react.js is a plus.
Experience in highly scalable web services, data processing, near-real-time systems and “big data” problems
BA/BS in Computer Science (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant work experience in this area)
