Job Summary

The role of Developer Software is responsible to design, develop and test software solutions following best practices and architecture principles described in the CN Development Position Book (DPB). The Developer takes full responsibility of his deliverables and align own workload to focus on key tasks in order to deliver as per commitment into an Agile and DevOps environment. The person is able to provide estimates based on clear assumptions and may participate to integration of standard technologies through PoC/PoT following industry standards, processes and governance aligned with business needs. This role may apply in either a Project, Enhancement or Support environment, depending on assignment.

Main Responsibilities

Software Development

  • Review Functional Design
  • Contribute to Technical Blueprint & Develop Technical Design
  • Produce estimates
  • Develop quality code following practices & standards in place
  • Develop unit test scripts and execute unit test
  • Troubleshoot software issues
  • Bug fixing during test and stabilization phases
  • Provide level 3 support
  • Deploy code into development environment
  • Implement PoC and PoT to evaluate development frameworks or project solution in order to make decision and position the right technologies and patterns

  • College degree or equivalent experience

  • Understand most of Design Patterns
