At IBM, work is more than a job – it’s a calling: To build. To design. To code. To consult. To think along with clients and sell. To make markets. To invent. To collaborate. Not just to do something better, but to attempt things you’ve never thought possible. Are you ready to lead in this new era of technology and solve some of the world’s most challenging problems? If so, lets talk.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a full-stack developer, you will be learning and applying full-stack skills for developing cloud applications. You will help develop front-end and back-end applications using a variety of languages, frameworks, and deployment technologies. Most importantly, you will be democratizing access to web, cloud, and mobile development skills by creating and updating instructional content to teach others.
IBM Developer Skills Network is part of the Developer Ecosystem Group. We engage closely with all business units of IBM, academic institutions, and customers large and small. As part of our open-source mission, we work closely with various open source communities as both contributors and users.
We are an emerging technologies team. That means we make bets about what’s coming next, not just what is popular today. Serverless, Web Assembly, blockchain, self-sovereign identity, self-driving cars, AI, and more AI.
We have a great working environment with the latest tools and great people. You’ll have ultimate flexibility in choosing technologies. You will learn, learn, and learn. We guarantee continuous learning at the cutting edge of everything tech.
We value passion and attitude over experience. We consider soft skills to be technical skills and we value them as much as the ability to code.
