In this role, you have the opportunity to

Develop powerful web and mobile applications to deliver cutting-edge features & products in an agile software development environment. In this critical role, you are a strong individual technical contributor who will participate cross-functionally in building an extensible platform that enables new synergies within both Philips Aging & Caregiving businesses and external ecosystem.

You are responsible for

Delivering scalable, production ready software solutions.

Communicating with stakeholders to determine priorities, understand requirements and explain tradeoffs. Implementing and encouraging software development best practices.

You are a part of

A fast paced team that enables senior care facilities to monitor location of residents and staff, to detect resident falls, to notify staff using alerts and help request, and to provide relevant reports and analytics.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • 3+ years of experience in software development
  • Education in Computer Science or other related fields
  • Have shipped production applications using a modern front end Javascript Framework (Angular preferred)
  • Released cross platform hybrid mobile applications (Ionic/Cordova preferred).
  • Experience with responsive design
  • Familiarity with state management patterns such as NGXS or Redux

Preferred:

  • Node.js/Python
  • AWS experience (Redshift, RDS, Elasticache, Dynamo, etc).
  • SQL / NoSQL

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position.
