As the Senior Specialist, Business & Marketing Analysis, you will be responsible in collecting, analyzing and providing key insights of the telecom network business. You will be responsible for helping advance sales efforts through the defining, evaluating, documenting and creating of presentations of Samsung Networks product and solutions. By collaborating with our delivery and sales teams, you will help create best of breed solutions for our new and existing customers.

You are a talented individual that can demonstrate the ability to interact at all levels of the organization. Solid business analysis skills coupled with the ability to interpret and translate information into meaningful professional presentations on the market, products and solutions from Samsung is a key differentiator. Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal, are required for formulating meaningful reports detailing the activities, actions and requirements of the Canadian Networks team to maintain a high profile with Samsung headquarters.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of activities, ad-hoc analytic requests, and development/automation of regular reports
  • Devise and assess procedures and methods for data collection
  • Gather information on competitors, and conduct analysis on their sales and methods of distribution and marketing.
  • Creates PowerPoint presentations to provide market and customer insights
  • Track and forecast trends in sales and marketing, and analyze in detail the data collected to provide management with insights
  • Prepare reports, presentations and spreadsheets
  • Prepare status updates and communicate issues to leadership as needed
  • Communicate key concepts, ability to package complex ideas into logical, easy-to-follow progressions
  • Present ideas in a logical, compelling manner in bothwritten format and verbally in small and large group settings
  • Works closely with various support organizations, logistics, and cross- functional teams from Samsung Canada and Samsung HQ to achieve successful new product rollouts and developments

Skills and Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred


  • Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis
  • Excellent analytical skills and a high degree of business acumen
  • Strong organizational, communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability in handling concurrent projects with attention to detail and accuracy


  • Experience working on a technical team as a business analyst
  • Ability to summarize large amounts of information into crisp recommendations and present recommendations to a variety of audiences
  • Experience building and automating management level reporting
  • Excellent research skills, advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Proficient with analytical tools, modeling and reporting
  • Skilled in the development of documentation, customer reports, presentations and data spreadsheets
  • Prepare status updates and communicate issues to leadership as needed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Passion for technology, understanding of telecom or network industry will be an asset.
