As a Senior Software Developer, you get to lead implementation of products of various size and complexity, influencing decisions on every step of the development cycle – from a prototype to production. You would be joining the ETL Chapter of the team developing Enverus Prism, our premier energy analytics platform. Through our continued growth we have maintained a one-team culture, with even our most junior members having code running in production within their first few weeks. Performance Objectives

  • Develop production ready code in a scalable and performant manner
  • Brainstorm and prototype new solutions
  • Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
  • Mentor junior team members

Competitive Candidate Profile

  • +5 years of software development experience
  • Solid experience with modern Python development tools and libraries
  • Hands-on experience with databases, a good understanding of SQL concepts and practices
  • Firm grasp of Linux usage and shell scripting
  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with OOP and Agile methodologies
  • Good command of Git or similar source-control tools (we use Github)
  • Good understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Knowledge of big data technologies including Spark/PySpark/Scala/Java
  • Familiarity with ETL processes
  • Experience with Airflow or equivalents
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Understanding of CI/CD
