Nous recherchons un développeur DevOps qui aime les données volumineuses, ou un administrateur de base de données qui souhaite étendre son expérience dans DevOps, pour alimenter les systèmes qui sous-tendent les technologies de cloud computing automobile de Cerence, notamment la reconnaissance vocale, l’IA et les services aux consommateurs. Vous serez un acteur clé (ou un chef d’équipe) au sein d’une équipe mondiale de développeurs de plateformes.

Responsabilités principales

  • Vous serez un acteur clé (ou un chef d’équipe) dans une équipe de développement et d’administration de logiciels, travaillant avec vos pairs dans le monde entier pour fournir des produits mondiaux
  • Construire et gérer des technologies de base de données, en assurant la capacité et l’efficacité de nos solutions
  • Automatiser la construction et le test de nouvelles infrastructures de bases de données sous forme de conteneurs Docker/Kubernetes ou de versions basées sur des VM
  • Développer des solutions de tests d’ingénierie (tests unitaires, tests de régression)
  • Participer à la révision des codes et à la planification des sprints
  • Quelques services de garde 24 heures sur 24, 7 jours sur 7, en cas d’urgence

Connaissances requises

  • Être un apprenant flexible et rapide, capable d’intégrer de nouvelles technologies selon les besoins de nos clients et de nos produits et de les soutenir d’une manière qui ne soit pas liée aux nuages
  • Une expérience significative avec une ou plusieurs technologies de base de données clés, notamment Postgresql, MySQL, Redis, Cassandra/CosmosDB ou Hadoop
  • Expérience avec les technologies de développement telles que Linux, Kubernetes, Puppet, Terraform, Jenkins, Artifactory ou autres
  • Connaissance d’un langage de programmation de haut niveau tel que Python, Go, Java, etc
  • Connaissance d’un langage d’interrogation de base de données tel que SQL Expérience en matière de réseaux HTTP et Linux
  • Solides compétences en matière de communication en anglais (écrite, orale) Expérience de travail avec des systèmes de contrôle des sources (GIT, SVN)

We are looking for a DevOps Developer that loves big data, or a database administrator that wants to expand his or her experience into DevOps, to power the systems that underlie Cerence’s automotive cloud technologies including voice recognition, AI, and consumer services. You will be a key player (or a team leader) in a worldwide team of platform developers.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Be a key player or team lead on a software development and administration team, working with a peers worldwide to deliver global products.
  • Build and manage database technologies, ensuring the capacity and efficiency of our solutions.
  • Automate the building and testing of new database infrastructure as Docker/Kubernetes containers or VM-based releases
  • Develop engineering testing solutions (unit tests, regression tests)
  • Participate in code reviews and sprint planning
  • Some 24/7 on-call as needed for emergencies

Knowledge required:

  • Be a flexible and quick learner, able to onboard new technologies as required by our customers and products and support them in a cloud-agnostic way.
  • Significant experience with one or more key database technologies including Postgresql, MySQL, Redis, Cassandra/CosmosDB, or Hadoop
  • Experience with devops technologies such as Linux, Kubernetes, Puppet, Terraform, Jenkins, Artifactory, or related .
  • Knowledge in a high-level programming language such as Python, Go, Java, etc.
  • Knowledge in a database query language such as SQL
  • Experience with HTTP and Linux Networking
  • Strong English communication skills (written, verbal)
  • Experience working with source control systems (GIT, SVN)

Preferred skills:

• 5+ years as a devops developer or related field (system administration, software engineering) or 5+ years as a database administrator or developer

• Experience in Cloud Environments (Azure, AWS, Alibaba, Google Cloud)
