What is the opportunity?

Reporting to and supporting the Senior Manager, this role will partner effectively with Data Centre Infrastructure Strategy stakeholders to support the ongoing execution, refinement, streamlined and automation of the DCIS business reporting, including use of operational data to provide insights, in support of DCIS priorities and objectives. This will include leveraging best in class technologies used within other RBC businesses (e.g., Tableau) to define requirements, develop, document and build reporting capabilities to provide insightful business management information, visualizations and dashboards, by identifying, understanding, capturing, organizing, presenting, and disseminating data.

What will you do?

  • Analyze, design, build and implement reports, dashboards and analysis of various RBC data points for DCIS, including but not limited to business performance, operational efficiency, vendor management and DCIS analytics.
  • Assess, research and analyze business needs in order to provide the best solution that meets end user requirements
  • Develop a roadmap of capabilities that accounts for the creation of new capabilities and the enhancement of existing capabilities
  • Assist with ensuring accuracy and alignment of roadmap deliverables
  • Facilitate group meetings for solution design, decision making, problem-solving and solution implementation
  • Manage, build, and support templates e.g., Excel Macros, File automation
  • Participate in strategy meetings to gather and document business requirements and learn how to formulate analytical framework
  • What do you need to succeed?

    Must-have

  • 2-4 years of related experience
  • Graphic and Web Design: Intermediate proficiency in CSS, HTML, JavaScript, web standards and cross-browser issues & fixes; Strong visual design sense required.; superior knowledge in various technology applications and delivering business solutions
  • Creative mindset with a proven ability to effectively manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and processes; proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, easily adapt to ever-changing workflow
  • Able to drive creative solutions, with proven ability to think ‘outside of the box’ and not accept what is done today as a solution; analytical thinker with a strong business analyst capabilities; comfortable with presenting and interacting with senior management; strong written and oral communication skills
  • Keen ability to deliver on tight timelines with a supported track record; capable of following directions and adhering to brand standards, motivated self-starter who can manage up and manage timelines
