What will you do?

RBC Procurement? What is that? Well, the Global Procurement team is responsible for buying and negotiating all the services, products, and solutions that RBC needs to operate. That means we go to market, get quotes, negotiate with suppliers and try to get the best value (not just price) for RBC. We have a diverse and inclusive supply chain, and are active within our communities. We source everything from pens to cloud computing solutions to sponsorship programs, the Olympics and the Canadian Open.

Procurement is a growing space for career seekers who have just completed their post-secondary education, a simple search of job boards reveals that there’s no shortage of amazing opportunities within procurement!

Working closely with the Sr. Manager of Procurement, providing support to the Global Procurement team, the Summer Internship role is responsible for proactive support, including anticipating issues and initiating appropriate actions to ensure the most effective use of time during the internship. You will prioritize incoming requests and project assignments. You will work with various procurement applications, data analysis tools and resources providing, and provide support to teams such as our procurement solutions and services team, strategy and business insights team and the procurement sourcing execution team.

  • While there is no one date when our employees will return, we can confirm that the majority of Summer Work Integrated Learning | Co-op positions will start working remotely, however may transition to working at an RBC office as essential service restrictions are lifted.
