NodeJS Developer

Insight Global is seeking a NodeJS Developer to join a major Canadian Telecom company’s IoT department. The successful candidate will be joining a cross-functional team responsible for building the IoT platform as a common service. The role will be 80-90% backend development and will involve building RestAPIs in javascript within microservices architecture.

Minimum Requirements

– ~5 years of experience with Node.Js

– Unit testing, TDD experience

– Experience working with frameworks like Jest, express

– Database experience with MongoDB

– Git

– CI/CD environment experience

– Working through agile sprints

– Solid communication, collaborative and open to mentoring & sharing learnings

Desired Skills

Must of minimum 2/3 of the following:

– Experience deployingto Azure

– Containers experience (Kubernetes)

– Experience with Kafka
