  • Ensure budget processes and information flow are performing optimally and inspire change, as necessary, to ensure they continue to evolve and be optimized
  • Work with digital outcome owners to ensure budget are identified and tracked – proactively identify opportunities for budget optimization
  • Understand the connection between financial and business outcomes
  • Assist in the development of monthly and quarterly forecast for both capital and operating expenditures; assist in annual budget process and multi-year forecast
  • Assist in month-end deliverables including accruals, reconciliations, reports, and variance analysis
  • Help our organization connect the dots – with a team of over 400 digital professionals working to deliver outstanding digital experiences, there’s a lot of moving pieces. Help connect them to bring transparency, purpose, and focus to our teams
  • Support various strategic efforts across the digital team – be willing to roll up your sleeves and do whatever needs to be done for us to be successful
  • Act as a customer experience and digital advocate and demonstrate passion and dedication to enabling and optimizing a digital-first end to end customer experience
  • Build positive relationships with key partners across the TELUS organization
  • Drive new and ongoing continuous improvement efforts across the digital team


You’re the missing piece of the puzzle

  • Has 3 – 5 years of experience in FP&A
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related business field
  • Prior experience in process development and optimization
  • Ability to deal with high levels of ambiguity and take charge of difficult situations – you are able to identify a set of options and a make sound recommendations on a particular course of action, even in great uncertainty
  • Your expertise as a numbers person: strong experience in balancing budgets, forecasting models, business cases
  • Strong desire to roll your sleeves up and get things done is a must – no task it beneath you, you are willing to do whatever it takes for TELUS Digital to be successful
  • Ability to simultaneously tackle multiple projects and challenges with enthusiasm
  • Experience navigating and partnering with a large and diverse stakeholder mix
  • Highly organized and detail oriented, with exceptional time management and prioritization abilities
