Financial Analyst

FINANCIAL ANALYST

Kent is the largest retail building supply chain in Atlantic Canada. This is a unique opportunity and an exciting and high impact position that provides the opportunity to work with the Microsoft D365 system. In the role of Financial Analyst, you will be a critical member of the finance team and work with colleagues and leaders from various areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare periodic financial and operational reporting

Completion of standard variance reporting

Build financial models and conduct analysis on a broad range of financial issues

Assist in the management of the long-term planning and capital budgeting process

Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities

Present financial summaries and business insights

Special projects and ad-hoc analysis as required

Successful Candidate will possess the following:

Business Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or relevant work experience

Completed or in final stages of Professional accounting designation

Strong attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret data

Ability to learn new tasks quickly; demonstrate flexibility when presented with change; lead and support a Team environment

Strong communication skills, self-driven, motivated, brings value to every interaction.
