Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing

As the Consultant, Leader and Employee Development, you will be responsible for assessing performance gaps and creating development and sustainment tools to enhance leader and frontline employee capability. You will build, identify and lead a methodology to regularly assess leader and employee capabilities and recommend performance improvement solutions. Working closely with the Talent Development team, Contact Centre Support and Operations, you will ensure the learning needs of leaders and employees are addressed when training and learning plans and processes are developed.

How You’ll Succeed

Analysis – Lead regular needs assessments – for highly complex business groups, with multi-channels, and products – to analyze knowledge and skill gaps, as well as performance improvement opportunities for the diverse leader and frontline employee population. Conduct research, data collection and SME interviews in order to provide operational/tactical advice and recommendations to close those gaps and increase knowledge and effectiveness of leaders and employees.

Development – Design and develop content for Client Contact Centre sites nationally. Use development tools to support the design of layouts, develop templates, build training activities, write/maintain content to ensure performance solutions are kept current. Collaborate on the creation of the design proposal for new training initiatives in order to obtain business and stakeholder agreement. Design and recommend appropriate success measures to monitor leader and employee development and impacts to business objectives on all assigned initiatives.

Relationship Management – Partner with business subject matter experts from across the organization to ensure that deliverables meet all defined standards of quality and effectiveness for the leader and employee development process. Work with Process, Sales Effectiveness and the Operations teams to recommend ways to standardize processes and tools to improve performance and work towards their implementation. Manage business partner expectations, promote business partner ownership of issues, processes and strategies and mentor junior team members.

Who You Are

You can demonstrate experience in SharePoint, Microsoft Office suite of products (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher), Adobe Acrobat, Internet and Intranet tools, knowledge of MS Project. You must also have solid current knowledge of Adult Learning Theory, Learning Design, Learning Technologies, and industry and marketplace best practices.
