You are a highly motivated business analyst who is client-focused and committed to making a difference to the AHS organization and the larger health care system. You work conscientiously with clinical stakeholders to understand the evolving nature of their work and recommend appropriate technology solutions. In the role of Assessment BA, you will be joining the technology program team supporting Connect Care, an exciting multi-year initiative that will transform the delivery of healthcare for all Albertans through the implementation of a provincial clinical information system. Applying your advanced analytical skills, you will work with the Phase Lead to develop an extensive knowledge of the end-to-end assessment phase and manage the day-to-day operation of the phase. This includes acting as the first point of escalation for exception requests, conducting quality assurance reviews, reporting and analytics for the phase, working on process improvement and inter-phase transitions and providing guidance to assessment analysts as required. Your business and technical abilities will converge as you work with partners from AHS Clinical and Non-clinical Operations, IT, and Capital Management to support the deployment and installation of Connect Care Non-Medical devices. Some of your key responsibilities will be: Work with the Phase Lead and Clinical Stakeholders to implement and maintain NMD Device Standards.Provide guidance and day-to-day support to the assessment team, as well as act as a key point of contact for downstream NMD project teams, as well as Clinical and non-Clinical stakeholders. Refine and enhance Assessment processes, ensuring integration with multidisciplinary teams and downstream phases.Manage the day-to-day operations of the assessment phase to ensure that assessments are completed within standard.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of a post-secondary degree in a related field, or equivalent level of education and experience.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in business analysis, technical analysis or a related discipline (organizational change management, benefits realization, etc.). Ability to meet the physical demands of the job; walking around and carrying a laptop, clipboard and documents for the majority of a shift, working in a hospital environment, collect information in awkward locations (e.g. under desks).Good facilitation and written/verbal communication skills; experience in a variety of stakeholder engagement techniques including both one-on-one and group facilitation.Solid requirements documentation skills, with proven ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, distinguish stated requirements from underlying true business needs, and convey requirements information effectively to stakeholders and partners.Experience in problem solving, negotiation, concerns/conflict resolution and investigation.Intermediate proficiency in common applications such as MS-Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Vision, Excel, Project, SharePoint, PowerBI).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in health care and/or IT technology teams preferred.
