Siemens AccountDevelopment Representatives work directly with sales teams, to identify,penetrate, and cultivate new business opportunities. Execution will includeresearch, cold calling, and advanced qualification. Team members will setmeetings, schedule technical resources, track activity and proactively updateselling teams on next steps for new and developing opportunities.

Candidates musthave strong communications. They mustunderstand the overall value proposition of the solutions they are selling andbe able to quickly communicate the message.

Target accountdevelopment and management:

  • Prepareand setup for outbound daily calls and other pursuit strategies.
  • Conductinitial phone qualification and research on assigned target accounts to gatherintelligence.
  • Buildprospect interest in the products a through web, social media, e-mail andprimarily phone interaction.
  • Systematicallyfollow-up all target account activities to develop total qualifiedopportunities.


This positionrequires strong communication skills and interaction with a number of differentteams. Building relationships over the phone to develop business isessential.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Coldcalling new account targets.
  • Bachelor’sDegree is required.
  • Minimum1+ years of some type of business development or sales-related experience.
  • Growingexisting accounts in new divisions and qualifying new business prospects.
  • Ableto think creatively and apply new ideas to overcome objections and barriers.
  • Workswell on a team and has strong communication skills.
  • Self-motivatedand target driven.
